Gernep has been represented at this location since 1985 and has developed into a globally established specialist in the labelling machine industry. Together with 13 other companies from the business park, Gernep will be opening its doors to visitors on Saturday, 20 April, from 9am to 3pm. People can watch live demonstrations of labelling machines, taste freshly labelled energy drinks, find out about current job vacancies or invite their friends to a beer pong tournament. Catering will also be well cared for with various food trucks spread throughout the industrial estate.

Looking for an apprenticeship?

The open day is also ideal for young people and their parents to find out about training opportunities. For all those who are still looking for an apprenticeship, a team at Gernep will be on hand with help and advice. One advantage of training at Gernep is that trainees not only get to know the structures of a medium-sized, family-run company, but can also get a taste of working for a global corporation. Gernep has been part of the Krones Group since 2015, and the first year of the apprenticeship is also completed at its headquarters in Neutraubling. The M+E Infotruck of the Bavarian Business Information Centre (Informationszentrale der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e.V.) is available on the premises of A. Gröschl Metallverarbeitung GmbH in Benzstraße 4 to provide an interactive insight into the metal and electrical industry. On the approximately 80 square metre presentation area of the two-storey M+E InfoTruck, the latest multimedia applications, robots and illustrative experiment stations are waiting to be discovered by young people.
